About
Art has been a constant thread throughout my life. Born and raised in New Brunswick, Canada, I developed a deep appreciation for visual storytelling from an early age. My mother nurtured my interest in capturing fleeting moments on canvas, while my father encouraged my attention to intricate detail through pen and ink drawing—both of which continue to influence my work today.
I began my formal training in the Fine Arts program at Mount Allison University, later expanding my skills through the Photography and Digital Imaging program at Holland College. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with respected Canadian photographers including Tim Pfinder, Martin Flewwelling, and Mark Hemmings, each of whom helped shape my artistic perspective.
In 2008, I moved to the United Kingdom, where I spent two years working in commercial photography and graphic design until my visa expired. I returned to Canada in 2010 and settled in Calgary, Alberta, where I worked for Gainsborough Galleries, an experience that deepened my understanding of both the creative and commercial sides of the art world. My own creative work during this period, focused on photography and digital media, can be found in collections in both London and Calgary.
In 2017, I returned to the Maritimes to manage—and later acquire (2018)—Handworks Gallery in Saint John, New Brunswick. Today, I’m proud to represent and promote a vibrant community of Maritime artists while continuing to pursue my own creative practice through painting, drawing, and digital media.
Whether through curating exhibitions or creating original artwork, I remain deeply committed to fostering artistic expression and sharing the stories that shape our visual culture.
